Automotive Products

Automotive products compose approximately 40% of our business. MMPC is both a Tier I supplier and Tier II supplier to major automotive components producers.

Some Vehicle components that we are involved in:

  • Instrument clusters with in-molded chrome rings (see picture below)

  • Interior armrests
  • Keyless entry systems

  • Electronic Sensor modules
  • Panel splash guards
MMPC manufactures both "under-the-hood" products, from engineering plastics (polycarbonates, GF nylons, PET, PPO, etc.) to “class-A” decorative parts, such as acrylic instrument lens and bezels. Secondary operations, such as sonic & vibration welding, hot stamping and pad printing,are used extensively. In addition, we utilize our expertise for in-molded decorative appliquésand metal inserts. MMPC has the unique capability and technology to in-mold chrome plated bezels in instrument clusters to eliminate BSR issues.

Many of our automotive customers rely on our inhouse 3D prototyping capabilities and design/development services.

Toolroom  
A fully-equipped tool room with experienced toolmakers. Master Molded Products provides defined preventive maintenance and repair for our molds, insuring long life and high-quality products for every run. The MMPC tool room is completely equipped with mills, lathes, grinders and all related equipment needed for maintaining your molds.

 

Product and Mold Engineering  
Master Molded Products is completely equipped to develop your product from concept to model, from prototype to final production tool. We welcome the opportunity to design the optimum part for performance, economical cost, and moldability.

 

Plastic Finishing and Packaging Department  
Master Molded Products Corporation specializes in complete secondary operations to deliver assembly-ready parts to our customers. We offer "turnkey" products, completely assembled and packed.

 

Rapid In-House Prototyping  
Master Molded Products Corporation continues to add State of the Art prototyping and design capabilities with the recent installation of the Objet Eden250(tm) 3 Dimensional Printing System.

Based on PolyJet technology, Objet Eden250 provides a complete solution for the accurate building of any geometry easily, quickly, cleanlyand cost effectively. Models produced on the Objet Eden250 are smooth and durable, with fine details and an outstanding surface finish.

This in-house system is available to all of our customers to provide fast (24 hour turnaround or less) accurate models, so that ourcustomers can completely envision their part design before mold builds.

Features of this innovative prototype system include:

Master Molded Products certifications include:

Quality systems are developed to meet our customers' specific requirements, using APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).

MMPC is also compliant to Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. Standard QMMY2 for material traceability. All of the products we manufacture are shipped certified, and are lot traceable.

We use an integrated information system, with software provided by IQS, Inc., to manage and administer our Quality System.
